
The program will export waypoint files to a chip for entry into a GPS. They can also be imported by the routines listed
above as a check to see that they were properly exported. It will not export all NMEA file types, just the WPL
(WayPoint List) and NorthStar PNTI varieties. Most of these export routines will be exporting to low capacity SD or CF
cards that can be picked up on Ebay cheaply. Get the lowest capacity cards available, as many GPSs, cannot handle high
capacity cards (over 2 GB). For some GPSs that insist on a specific file name, only one file can be placed on a card, so
you may need multiple cards if you have multiple files to upload at sea. The list of file types is below.
